A Bizarre Point of View

Here are the three parts of John McCain's recent visit to The View.  I present them here because they provide further insight into this presidential candidate.

Sorry to say, it also gives insight into some of the reasons that this campaign has taken on the nastiness of a schoolyard brawl.  Watch Barbara Walters conduct her interrogation of McCain without looking at him.  Hear Joy Behar use the term "short hairs" during her conversation with this U.S. Senator.  Enjoy McCains responses to some of the inane questioning, such as Whoopie's concerns about whether McCain wants to return to black slavery.  Be amazed and concerned that viewers find this show a worthwhile use of their time.

I am neither amazed nor concerned that viewers find this show a worthwile use of their time. If John McCain wants to use the View as a Political Forum to reach out to the demographic that tunes in then he should be prepared to answer their questions.

Your perspective of some real questions in regards to the Economy, Roe V Wade, Religion and his selection of Palin as VP from a culturally mixed group of women should not come as a surprise and, to be honest, your comments ring of elitism. Imagine if I wrote something along the same lines in regards to hannity and colmes or o'reily?

Joy Behar's use of the term "short hair", in my opinion, was not out of line. She asks the same question that I brought up earlier today about the way McCain has positioned himself in this campaign and the consequences of it. I only wish she had called him out on more specifics. I'm sure if the question was asked of Obama you would be cheering.

I did not find Whoopi's question about slavery inane either. Dramatic? Perhaps. Although, John said himself that politicians tend to boast a bit more than they should when he spoke about referring to Palin as the greatest VP in US history. Laughable, might I add. She could barely handle the likes of the fire breathing journalist Charlie Gibson!! I'm not surprised that you don't wish to discuss that.

Also, what Whoopi was responding to was either the apaprent flip flop of John McCain in regards to abortion OR the sudden revealing of his true position on Roe V Wade. Or, rather, how he thinks that women should not have the freedom to choose what to do with their own bodies. Its a monumental step backward in terms of the freedoms we enjoy in our society. What freedoms will come next? This is her question.

Be amazed and concerned that viewers find Hannity and Colmes a worthwhile use of their time. You're watching them right now aren't you? I knew it.....ha

I try to watch Hannity & XXXX every night as a way to degrease myself from my infrequent viewing of CNN where Blitzer and Campbell fawn over the second coming of Messiah Obama.

You only need to compare Obama's appearance on The View to McCain's to understand how one-sided The View is. I don't think it gets any more obnoxious that Joy Behar unless you include Rosie O'Donnell but that's why The View continues to bomb in the ratings.

Yes, Republicans want to return to slavery and that why after countless Republican administrations, Whoopi continues to bring home big bucks and guys like Obama wind up running for president with no record of accomplishment. Bad, bad Republicans!

Fortunately, regardless of the biased media, Americans seem to get it and the polls show it every week.

Ah yes, the old media bias card.....nothing new from the Republicans.
